The report she recieved was like all the others since she came to this little town: kill a member of the oriel. That was fine with her, she disliked them anyway, but there a few good people that joined with no knolwedge of what that 'cult' really did behind the scenes.
She was to follow a priest this time, which made the pleasure of seeing him bleeding out into the earth even more satisfying. That is, of course, he was guilty of the things listed in the report- which he more than likely was.
Her primal senses perked up when she smelled the secent of someone wearing a floral perfume, one that was far too expense for a commoner to own. She made her way down to town and saw a crowd surround a young person in red and gold robes with another man from the oriel, she was curious, but it was not in her schedule.
The scent went into the alleyway nearby and she saw a lonesome guard standing there holding a spear in his left hand. He had the faint smell of the man in question upon him and she walked up to the man:
"Have you seen a priest of Oriel around here?" Her accent was thick, it rolled off her tongue fulidly as she spoke.
The guard smirked and looked at her as he gazed up and down her figure.
"Why would that be, madam?" he noticed her canine teeth when she smirked back at him and he put his guard up.
"I want to convert-" she moved her hand to the leather holster on her side and he leapt in for attack with his spear.
She pulled out her bladed weapon from it's resting place and held it with her clenched fist,
"I think that would be a poor decision,"
He tried for a stab attack and she sliced the tip of the spear off with her weapon, leaving him with nothing but a measley stick. The guard dived for the pointed metal tip and she stabbed the man in the arm with her weapon. His scream was muffled by that of another in the town square and she twitsed her hand slowly.
"Tell me where he is."
The guard looked in her eyes and saw her pupils turn almost slited as she became angry. His other arm swang up and hit her in the head and she removed her weapon from his body. The guards body pinned her to the ground and she bit and clawed at his arms and face before she threw him off and sliced her weapon over his body before she stabbed him in the chest.
"Foolish man. Never pick a fight with an assassin."
And then she was gone, as fast as a cart down the alleyway, trailing her target with her sense of smell.
